Safari tents

At the the river we have two safari tents. These tents – as big as rooms – stand about 30m apart. You will have the luxury of an en-suite bathroom build out of natural stone. The tents have a double bed and spacious terrace and are decorated in African style.

These two separate double tents are about 30 m apart. The tents are in the 1 star sector. Therefore they are cheaper than the colonial house. Both tents have a large terrace. A tent no. 8, you will have a view of the river bed which is not far from the terrace. The other one has a view to the north with winter sun and in summer there is shade. Both tents are close to nature. In order to enjoy the main view of the river bed, the main house offers a lot of space and there are benches where you can sit very well. This accommodation is suitable as a budget overnight stay or if you travel with a group of 4 persons, because they are not far from each other. They are NOT suitable for older people because they are about 100 m from the main house.

Facilities

Both tents have a bedroom size of 3 x 5 meters and you can stand in the tent. There are two normal single beds with a common headboard, thus also separate mattresses. The bathroom is en-suite and has a washbasin, toilet and shower. There is also a socket and an electric kettle for tea or coffee.

Furnishings

Simple and functional. It is also called luxury tent, but this refers to the size and NOT to golden taps and wooden floor.

Location

The tents are the furthest away from the main house. Distance approx. 100m. The campsite with 6 pitches is next to it. It offers a combination of camping and tent. Example if you are travelling as one or two families with kids.

At the reception there is coffee, tea & drinks and free internet (WIFI).
